After being absent from the cycle tyre industry since 1976 – Goodyear has announced its comeback.
40+ years absenteeism is not holding them back, as the company already announced UK and Ireland distributors and a range of nine different tyre models.
The new Goodyear bicycle range was developed in partnership with Rubber Kinetics LLC. Rubber Kinetics is a new start-up business run by cycling industry master Luke Musselman. The new models are;

- Escape
- Transit Tour
- Transit Speed
- County
- Connector
- Newton ST
- Peak
This is a major entry into the market for Goodyear, as there are more than 100 stock keeping units spread across the British islands.

It was back in 1898 when Goodyear name first appeared on a tyre – a bicycle tyre.
